The 2020 Census is Currently Underway - It's Not Too Late to Respond

In March, the  U.S. Census Bureau mailed official notices to every household requesting participation in the 2020 Census. With an online option for the first time, as well as mail and phone options, the survey has never been easier. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
 
There is still time to respond. The self-response phase has been extended to October 31. Your prompt response will not only help ensure vital support to neighborhoods across Florida, it will also protect public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic by minimizing the need for census takers to visit homes of those that have not responded.
 
Census data helps direct federal funds to local communities for education, roads, and other public services. It is also used for planning by hospitals, nursing homes, community centers, churches, schools, and police and fire rescue. A complete and accurate count provides for the common good and well-being of all U.S. residents.
