On Tuesday, March 7 lawmakers will gather to formally start the 2017 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature. During a joint meeting of the House and Senate, Governor Rick Scott is expected to give the traditional "State of the State" address. The annual legislative session is scheduled to run 60 days, ending May 5.
The
FCCB Legislative Bill Report for the 2017 session is available to view online. The report identifies priority bills of concern and is updated regularly as action is taken by the legislature on the identified proposals.
In addition to the bill report, the FCCB will provide a weekly e-update summarizing action taken by the legislature on key issues and other activities of interest each Friday during the nine weeks of the legislative session.
