First Lady Ann Scott Visits Ascension Catholic School

Florida's First Lady Ann Scott visited Ascension Catholic School in Melbourne to greet students and share her passion for reading and literacy. Mrs. Scott read several books to the students including the book that she authored, "Ally and Jordi's Adventures Through Florida". She then shared information about her home at the Governor's mansion and showed pictures of the mansion and her family. She engaged the students in discussion and answered questions about her life as First Lady. Before departing, the First Lady encouraged the children to read books throughout the summer and left behind a generous gift of several books for the school's library.
