The 2018 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature is scheduled to begin Tuesday, January 9. Lawmakers will convene next week in the Florida House and Senate chambers to formally call the session to order. During a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Senate, Governor Rick Scott is expected to give the traditional "State of the State" address. The annual legislative session is scheduled to run 60 days and conclude on March 9.
